Cam Agri Hub

The Royal Government of Cambodia is supporting the reduction of climate vulnerabilities in rice communities and enabling resilience of these communities in the Tonle Sap, through the Promoting Climate Resilient Landscapes (PCRL) Project. This project has varied thrusts to support agencies from the Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries as well as the Ministry of Environment. The PCRL project aims to enable staff of these two ministries to readily access information through digital tools related to agrometeorology and agriculture. These are however, often in different websites and applications that may not be easily known or accessible. The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) through the PCRL project is building a repository of these digital tools.

The repository brings together a wide range of digital agricultural tools and platforms developed for Cambodian agriculture sector by public institutions, private sector, international organizations, and their partners. This repository serves as a centralized source of information on digital and smart solutions that support climate-resilient and market-oriented farming practices in Cambodia. It aims to increase the visibility of developed smart tools for evidence-based policy making. This initiative contributes to the broader goal of leveraging digital innovation to empower farmers, improve livelihoods, and support the transformation of Cambodia’s agricultural sector in the face of climate and market challenges.
